In this guitar lesson, our young teacher Cameron will teach you the harmonic minor modes. This scale consists of seven notes, combining whole and half steps in several combinations to produce different feelings and moods. This great scale is basically a minor scale with a raise 7th. Each mode has its own name and sound, such as: Harmonic Minor, Locrian Sharp 6, Ionian #5, Dorian #4, Phrygian Dominant, Lydian #2, and diminished.
Ok, hope you like this lesson and don´t forget to come up with your own ideas, which is the best advice for starting to find `your´ unique sound and style. That is all for today… Also we suggest that you keep enjoying and learning from Cameron and all the staff at Guitarcontrol.com! Where? In our free guitar lessons at www.youtube.com/guitarcontrol
